Christiane S. Delessert
Dr. Christiane S. Delessert, Ph.D., CFP®, is a founding partner of Montis Financial, a successor to Delessert Financial. She has provided comprehensive financial planning and investment consulting services to high-net-worth individuals for more than 35 years.
She entered the financial planning and investment field in 1981 as vice president of operations for MHA Financial Corporation in Braintree, MA, and then moved on to become president of Bornhoft Financial Services, Inc., until that accounting firm merged with BDO Seidman. Dr. Delessert was the national director of BDO Seidman Financial Services, an affiliate of the international accounting firm BDO Seidman, until 1994 when she founded Delessert Financial Services.
Dr. Delessert received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics, summa cum laude, from the University of Geneva, and an MALD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Geneva in international law and economics (Graduate Institute of International Affairs). She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a member of the Financial Planning Association, and a member of NAPFA (National Association of Personal Financial Advisors).
Christiane served as a member of the advisory board for Boston University’s Program for Financial Planners for 15 years and was a member of the board of directors of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts, co-chairing their program committee.
