Dennis E. Follmer
Dennis E. Follmer is the chief investment officer at Montis Financial. He leads Montis’ investment and portfolio management processes, develops economic and market-related thought leadership, and supports business development efforts. Dennis also participates on the leadership team and serves on Montis’ investment committee.
With over 30 years of experience, Dennis has extensive expertise in investment and tax management. Prior to joining Montis, he was Head of Portfolio Management at 55ip, a subsidiary of JPMorgan Asset Management. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Oceanwood Capital Management, a $2 billion spin-off from Tudor Investment Corp, where he managed event-driven strategies.
Dennis earned an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University.
Outside of work, Dennis is an avid golfer and proud father of two sons.
